Low Level Laser Light Therapy

Low Level Laser Light Therapy is a new nonsurgical scientific approach to treating hair loss, thinning hair, baldness and problems associated with the scalp. Laser light hair therapy stimulates protein synthesis in the scalp which may make hair look fuller, thicker and healthier.

It was originally designed to treat diseases of the scalp and skin, and was first tested and advocated for use by physicians in Europe over 10 years ago. Clinical trials in Europe have shown that low-level laser treatments stimulate blood flow to the scalp and overwhelmingly support the use of laser light hair therapy.

What are the Benefits of Laser Hair Therapy?

  • Increases blood supply to the scalp by 50% after only 1 treatment
  • Stops progression of hair loss in 85% of patients
  • Stimulates regrowth of hair
  • Repairs and improves hair shaft quality and volume
  • Dramatically prolongs the life of hair color and perms
  • Relieves irritating scalp conditions

How does Laser Hair Therapy work?
Laser phototherapy targets the mitochondria cells, in turn boosting the energy of the follicles and raising the blood supply to the scalp.

Are there any side effects?
No! There are no short or long term side effects with this program. The laser used (Class IIIA laser unit) is fully FDA approved.

Does it hurt?
No! There is no pain associated with any aspect of this program. The laser used is a Low Level Diode Laser without a thermal component. A tingling sensation of the scalp is sometimes noticed during use. This is due to the increase in blood and nutrient flow into the scalp and hair follicles.

How is this program administered?
A certified Trichologist and/or doctor will carefully follow your progress and administer each treatment during the program.

Will the Laser Hair Program interact with any medication or medical conditions I may have?
Yes! It is recommended that anyone starting this program not be using any type of steroids or cortisones. Also if pregnant, we recommend that this program be postponed until after delivery. If you suffer from epilepsy, you should let the therapist know.

Does the program work for women?
Yes! Most women tend to respond extremely well.

How soon will I see results?
In four to six months you will begin to see noticeable improvement. Some even sooner, some later, as with each person, response varies on an individual basis.

Will it work for me?
Our laser program works for the majority of users. It should work for you as well. However, this program does not consist of the laser alone. It is a complete Harmonix Solution concept which will be explained in detail during consultation.
